From Russian folk tales, many of us know about the existence of dead and living water. And if in our modern times it's possible to call dead chlorinated water from a tap, drying out hair, then hydrolytes for hair are just living water (also known as flower). This is a by-product of the manufacture of ethers. But this is exactly the case when even "production waste" carries a lot of usefulness.
Do not think that the hydrolyte is purified water, in which the essential oil is dissolved. This substance is obtained by steam distillation of essential oil plants - water "catches" some useful components. In its pure form, the hydrolyte does not contain flavors, preservatives or even alcohol (maximum 4%).
As for floral water, it is made by mixing ether (one or a combination thereof) and distilled water. This product can no longer be called completely natural. First, the ether can be synthetic. Secondly, to dissolve the oil in water, it is added with alcohol, polysorbate, preservative.
The different composition of these agents causes a different effect on the human body. If the natural hydrolyte is tender with the skin, then from the stuffed "chemistry" of flower water, the owners of sensitive skin may notice tingling and irritation.
This substance is akin to essential oil, but if the ether is everywhere added by a droplet, the hydrolyte can be poured more thoroughly, without being afraid to overdo it. Say, it can be poured on washed hair in the form of rinsing; on its basis masks are made. Each individual hydrolyte solves one or more problems.

1. In the form of rinsing for clean hair.
2. In the form of a tonic that does not need to be washed off. He protects the hair in summer and winter, while not "heavier" them. You will need a hydrolyte and a bottle with a spray.
3. As an ingredient for home masks.
Each mask with a hydrolat should be "warmed" on the head (polyethylene + shawl or bath towel). From this warming up the composition of the mask penetrates more actively into each hair, as well as the skin beneath it.
Composition for enhancing growth . 2 large spoons of mustard (in powder) mixed with 4 tablespoons of warm hydrolyte (use burdock or patchouli), yolk, a couple of droplets of firming ether, a pinch of sugar. The finished mask should resemble a good sour cream in density. It is applied to the skin under the hair, along the parting, it can tingle a little. Keep it from 20 to 60 minutes. Wash under the tap without using shampoo. Clean hair can be rinsed with undiluted hydrolyte.
Nutritious, renewing composition . Mix the yolk, a large spoonful of honey, the same amount of sage hydrate. Apply for 60 minutes, wash, coat the head with a sage hydrolate.
Lotion for shine and hair strength . Warm up 1 liter of hydrolate (which one - read in the list above), split in it 2 large spoons of honey. Rub into the roots of hair. Course: 2 times in 7 days.
