Among us there are few diploma chemists, but thanks to the modern beauty industry, many women have learned to understand the composition of detergent or caring means. Take, for example, glycerin - it is added as in soap or shampoos, and in a dishwashing detergent. All - because of its moisturizing properties: after contact with this substance, our skin remains gentle and hydrated, even if washing took place in the hardest water.
But besides the skin, he "knows how" to take care also of our hair, eliminating their fragility and dryness.
If you regularly use shampoos or masks containing this colorless substance (similar to water, only thicker and more viscous), you will not recognize your hair. They will become elastic, obedient, soft and very pleasant to the touch. In addition, if the hair is cut off, eventually you will forget about this problem. And even the most irritated and problematic scalp does not face an allergy to glycerin.
No matter how useful and safe it is, before you start using glycerine for hair actively, you should learn about its negative properties. Yes, this means "knows how" to accumulate moisture, so that it can begin to pull it out of your skin and hair. That is, if used incorrectly, you do not moisturize, but on the contrary - dry the strands! And if in masks glycerin is used almost "buckets", it can brighten your hair - it is true, it is uneven, so you do not really need to count on this method of coloring.
What can I do to prevent drying? Do not use glycerin in its pure form - only as part of masks. And if you decide to take a course of glycerin care, do not repeat the procedure more than once every 7 days.
In any kitchen, you can make a gentle shampoo, using glycerine and chamomile. And by the way, here in this case, the remedy will not only emphasize the beautiful color of the hair, but also fill them with a luminous radiance. The shampoo is done like this: pour a glass of boiling water 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile, then put the saucepan with broth on the stove and boil for about 15 minutes under the lid, over low heat. Allow the broth to cool down (but not to the end), strain, add 2-3 tablespoons of liquid baby soap (or hard, rubbed on any grater), as well as 1 tablespoon of glycerin.
By the way, if you are a brunette, instead of a decoction of chamomile, take St. John's wort or nettle - these herbs are brewed in the same way as described above.
If you do not have time to bother with the broths of herbs, just drop the glycerin into your shampoo. Calculation: for 1 tablespoon of shampoo - 1/3 of a spoonful of glycerin.
They did a perm for hair, but did not like this hair categorically? Make a mask of glycerin and burdock oil - this is the best tool for instant rehabilitation of damaged locks. If your hair is naturally dry, stop on a waste means of glycerin and castor oil - you will get not only care, but also a beautiful volume.
So, take 2 tablespoons of one of the named oils, 1 teaspoon of glycerin, the same amount of apple cider vinegar, and also yolk (the last component is not necessary). Apply the mask to the hair for 40 minutes, then rinse, helping yourself with shampoo. Carry out such procedures for up to two months (as already mentioned above - not more often than one mask per week).
The most gentle way to lighten hair is the following. Brew 50 g of chamomile with a cup of boiling water, let it brew for a couple of hours, then strain. Add 60 g of glycerin, apply the mask on the hair, pay special attention to the roots, wrap the hair with a film and leave this "decoration" for 40 minutes. After the first procedure you will get a lightening of just a tone, the following will enhance this effect. This mask is not harmful - on the contrary, it will only strengthen each your hair.
Another clarifying mixture. This masochka will not only whiten hair (and blondes will give the opportunity to "try on" a beautiful platinum shade), but also will give them a smoothness - such a home replacement for salon lamination. So! Take 2 chicken yolks, whip them, add 2-3 drops of lemon essential oil, as well as 1 teaspoon of glycerin. First, rub the mask into the scalp, and then apply the composition on all the hair to the tips. Hold the mask for 30 minutes, then rinse with plain water.
Since this product is shown to girls with dry hair, owners of fatty hair believe that they do not need to use glycerin. But meanwhile, they are deeply mistaken - if you correctly combine glycerin with other ingredients of masks, it can both intensively moisturize your hair and dry it. Want to see this personally? Mix glycerin with ordinary vodka (the proportion is one to one, for example, 1 teaspoon of each product), then rub the mask into the roots of the hair. Wrap your hair with a towel, hold it on your head for about 15 minutes, then wash off the glycerin ... And enjoy the feeling of cleanliness and freshness.
