Care for oily skin

The first signs of the formation of oily skin appear at the puberty stage in adolescence. This period is associated with hormonal changes in the whole organism. Against the backdrop of increased production of the male hormone testosterone, which can be produced by the female body, the activity of the sebaceous glands increases, the pores of the skin expand, which is often accompanied by the formation of acne on it. If the transition to a more mature age, these problems do not by themselves pass, then we can safely say that you have formed a fatty skin type.

Oily skin in itself, in spite of the fact that it is necessary to make certain efforts to give it an attractive appearance, has its undeniable advantages. First of all, because the protective film created by abundant fatty discharge, the surface of the skin is always slightly moistened and no harmful substances enter it inside. This contributes to giving the face skin for a long time a young and healthy appearance. As a rule, at the age of thirty, a fatty skin type is transformed into a mixed or combined skin.

When determining cosmetics for the care of oily skin, you need to stop your choice on preparations marked "for normal and oily skin", "for oily and acne prone skin" and "tested for comedogenesis." They effectively remove the oily shine of the skin, narrow the pores and reduce or eliminate acne.

Daily care for oily skin is, first of all, in regular cleaning, which must be done in the morning and in the evening. For this purpose, water-soluble preparations are ideally suited, which allow the skin to be thoroughly washed - detergent gels, creams or cosmetic soap (syndet). At the end of the procedure, a moisturizing day cream or hydrogel is applied to the skin in the morning, and a night cream for oily skin in the evening.

To maintain a fresh look of the skin, you must constantly degrease its surface and prevent thickening of the stratum corneum. The following tools help in the best way:

1. Cleansing masks, allowing for a short time to release the skin from excess amount of fat and keratinized particles. The recommended frequency of application of such masks is 1-2 times a week.

2. Polishing creams with fine abrasive particles, which need to be treated 2-3 times a week.

3. Special lotions for oily skin, which includes a mineral powder of fine grinding. They are applied in the morning immediately after the cleaning procedure, and a day-old protective cream is applied over them. During the day, you can treat the skin several times with this lotion.

4. Colorless transparent powder without a pearl luster, which is applied to the surface of the skin, previously cleaned from greasy shine with a cosmetic napkin.
