A red mole or scientific angioma is a benign tumor of vascular origin. Usually they, regardless of the age of the patient, do not cause great anxiety in doctors. Angiomas can appear on different parts of the body and have one characteristic feature - they become pale when pressed, and after stopping the effect, they restore the original color.
Red moles appear on the body both at an early age and in adults. The nature of their occurrence is currently poorly understood, but nevertheless, a number of possible causes include exposure to the skin of direct sunlight, hormonal changes in the body, diseases of the circulatory system and the gastrointestinal tract. This can be detected only by a detailed examination of the body.
Angiomas come in several varieties depending on the depth of the location and the type of bloody area on which they appeared - capillary, venous or arterial. The most common are angiomas of capillary origin, consisting of the smallest blood vessels - capillaries. They are formations of red or pink color of flat form, slightly rising above the surface of the skin and having a diameter of not more than 1 mm. There are also cavernous or cavernous angiomas, which are a fairly large tumor, consisting of several processes densely located to each other. In addition, nodular, pineal, branched and flat forms of tumors and hemangiomatosis - a large formation, covering extensive sections of the blood channel (for example, on the part of the back or the entire length of the forearm) are distinguished.
As a rule, if red birthmarks do not cause any discomfort in everyday life and do not increase in size, then doctors do not recommend removing them. If you still decide on this action, then ask for help from highly qualified specialists who will recommend the most appropriate method. Distinguish the following methods of removal and treatment - laser, cryogenic, infrared or light coagulation of vessels, X-ray therapy, sclerotherapy and diathermocoagulation of the vascular bed. The safest and most painless way is to remove red moles with a laser device. For better effectiveness, treatment procedures are supplemented with the intake of hormonal drugs.
