Paraffin in the composition of masks has a beneficial effect on the skin condition of the face. This is due to the fact that under its layer there is an establishment and preservation of a certain temperature, at which skin pores are cleared and expanded, muscle tone is increased and skin elasticity is increased, blood supply is normalized and metabolic processes are accelerated.
Paraffin masks perfectly eliminate the dryness and flabbiness of the skin, stretch marks and sagging in the form of a double chin, puffiness and puffiness, acne and scars from it.
Paraffin masks are always superimposed in hot form (at a temperature of about 75-80 degrees). Before applying paraffin masks should not be washed, but also use liquid creams, to avoid burning the skin from excessive moisture.
When applying paraffin masks at home, it is recommended to follow the following sequence of actions:
1. Cleaned and well-dried skin of the face wipe with a cotton swab dipped in oil, then with a usual dry disc. With oily skin of the face, wipe it with alcohol or a mixture of alcohol and ether.
2. Using a special flat brush, apply a uniform layer of melted paraffin to the skin with rapid movements. In this case, avoid the area of the nose, mouth, eyebrows and eyes.
3. After the paraffin is hardened, apply a thin layer of cotton wool on it, which is also covered with a layer of paraffin with a thickness of approximately 0.6 to 0.8 cm.
4. For better preservation of heat, the mask on top is additionally covered with a layer of cotton wool and a towel or a napkin.
5. After 15-20 minutes, remove the mask with neat movements using a special spatula (spatula).
6. Apply a moisturizer to your face or rub it with lotion.
After the procedure, it is best to avoid walking outdoors for several hours, especially during the cold season. The rate of paraffin masks for complete restoration of a healthy type of skin is 10-15 procedures.
In masks, it is better to use white paraffin instead of yellow, and to obtain a better effect to the paraffin, you can add vegetable oils (olive, sunflower, peach, almond) and beeswax.
Contraindications to the use of paraffin masks are pregnancy, disruption of blood clotting, a large number of moles and warts, hypertension, inflammatory processes on the face.
