Face mask for face

One of the most effective modern means for facial skin care are mask-films. They are simple and convenient to use and allow for a very short period to normalize the work of the sebaceous glands and reduce greasy sheen, smooth out wrinkles, clean pores from dirt and dead particles, eliminate irritation, inflammation and flaking of the skin. With regular application of the mask-film, the facial skin becomes elastic, elastic and acquires an even, healthy color.

The consistency of the mask-film is reminiscent of a transparent gel. They are called so because after application and drying on the face skin a dense film is formed which, unlike other masks, is not washed off, but is removed with neat movements from the bottom up. Prepare a mask-film at home is impossible. In a large selection they are sold ready-made in cosmetic shops.

It is important to remember that the effectiveness of the final result depends on the correct application and removal of the mask. The sequence of actions should be as follows:

1. Remove the skin from the remnants of cosmetics and contamination with a cotton disc soaked in cosmetic oil (olive, peach, almond) in order to protect it from possible microdamage when removing the mask.

2. Apply a mask-film on the skin with lightly accurate movements of the pads of the fingers from the chin to the forehead, avoiding getting into the area of the lips, eyebrows and eyes.

3. Take a lying position, relax and avoid facial movements.

4. You can proceed to the removal when, when you touch the mask, it does not stick to your fingers. Approximately it comes in 20 minutes. Try not to over-mask the face to avoid problems with removal. The mask is removed with careful movements from the bottom up.

5. Remove the remains of the mask from the face with a cotton disc or sponge dipped in water or tonic.

It is best to apply a mask-film once every 2 days. After achieving optimal results, after 4-6 procedures for the supporting effect, they are used once a week.

Contraindications to the application of mask-films are:

- Dry and sensitive skin of the face, because the masks contain alcohol, which irritates and dries the skin;

- an abundance of fleecy hair on the face due to possible pain sensations when removing the mask, and also because tighter and darker hairs grow on the site of the torn ones;

- the presence on the face of a large number of small wrinkles, as when drying the mask tightens them, and when the mask is removed, wrinkles are even more stretched and become deeper and more noticeable.

Recently, mask-films based on latex have appeared that do not contain alcohol and have a creamy consistency. Such masks have no contraindications. They do not cause irritation on dry and sensitive skin, and the film that appears on drying is so soft that when removed it does not cause pain and stretching of the skin.
