Mechanical depilation. Machine-depilatory

mechanical depilation

Plucking or pulling out the hair

The whole process of this method is to pull out excess hair with tweezers or a mechanical epilator that clamps the hair in a rotating drum and pulls it out.

Undoubted advantages of this method of depilation is its cheapness: it is necessary only to buy tweezers or a mechanical epilator, which will last for a long time. In addition, if you often repeat the plucking sessions, the number of growing hair decreases with time.

The disadvantages are: painful sensations; appearance on the spot plucking irritation; the possibility of infecting the wound after removal of the hair and the occurrence of an inflammatory process at this site; because of soreness, it is impossible to use in the axillary zone and the bikini zone.

To carry out such depilation, in addition to the usual tweezers, special machines are used - depilatories pulling the hair "from the root". In essence, they are mechanized tweezers, and the principle of action was applied in the IV century BC. in ancient Rome. There the young ladies in the steam baths steamed the skin, their slaves twisted each hair into a coarse string and sharply pulled. Preliminary steaming of the skin greatly reduces painful sensations and facilitates hair removal.

Machine-depilatory

For depilation, two types of depilatory machines are used. In machines of the first type, a vibrating spring is used, the loops of which catch hairs and, with the return movement, pull them together with the root.

In the second type of machine, rotating plates are used, inside of which there are metallic elements that converge and rotate during rotation according to the principle of tweezers. On such machines are provided cooling strips, vibrating nozzles or rubber spikes. All these devices serve to alleviate painful sensations.

The use of depilatory machines is possible only if there are no inflammatory diseases on the legs, in particular, such as thrombophlebitis. The use of machines with such a disease can cause a rupture of thrombus or a severe inflammation of the skin.

After the procedure of depilation with removal of the root, the skin should be treated with anti-inflammatory agents. As such, special lotions or drug solutions are used, which are sold in pharmacies. After that, the skin is applied funds that slow the growth of new hair. It is best to use these drugs after a warm bath, a hot shower, a sauna or a bath. Undressed, moist skin with open pores promotes their deep penetration.

These drugs should be used regularly: first - immediately after depilation, then - every other day, subsequent - at a frequency of two times a week.
