Combing hair - how to do it right

Hair needs continuous care. A considerable role in this is played by regular combing.

Combing hair is best twice a day. Massage of the scalp during combing improves blood circulation, which contributes to the growth and strengthening of the hair.

When washing, combing the hair from mechanical influence, a certain amount of hair falls out. Basically it's old, dead hair. Remember that one hair on the head lives for about four years, so do not be afraid of their loss in a small amount, especially in spring and autumn.

Hair loss per day to 80 hair is normal. The lost hair falls out along with the bulb, which is called the "root", but the skin remains a hairy papilla, from which the hair will soon grow again. If the hair began to thin out - this is a signal that they are sick (a consequence of the disruption of the nervous, endocrine system and metabolism). In such cases, the hair needs nutritional treatment.

To painlessly tidy up intricate long hair, use a massage brush. Very long hair, hold the strand near the head behind the strand, and brush them to the ends. After this preparation, the hair is easily combed and laid with a comb. Try not to stretch your hair when combing. Combs and brushes should be clean, they should be washed regularly.

If you have long hair, start combing them from the ends. Short - from the root. For combing short hair, you should only use a comb. More sparing hair combing them with a brush. Hair longer than 25-35 cm is better to comb first with a brush, then with a comb.

Requirements for a comb:

Before combing your hair , you need to choose a suitable comb. Use scallops with blunt teeth, they do not scratch the skin. When combing, the hair is ventilated. The brush clears the hair of dust. With increased greasiness, it is recommended to use a frequent comb with a layer of hygroscopic cotton wool at the base of the teeth.

Every person should have an individual comb and brush. Never lend it to others, you do not go to other people's problems! Through a comb, microbes, infections, parasites, etc. are transmitted.

Cleaning the comb

The brush gets dirty faster than the comb, because of the density of the bristles. It should be washed more often (once every 2-3 days) with soap and ammonia solution (2 tablespoons of ammonia are added to 1 liter of soapy water). This solution quickly and easily can be washed with a brush for washing hands. Before you wash the brush, you should release it from the remnants of hair and dandruff.

The most common are combs of hard rubber (ebonite), so to clean the comb it is necessary to apply warm, but not hot soapy water. Ebonite in hot water softens a dull gray color, but most importantly, it loses its shape and becomes unfit for consumption. Particular care must be taken to ensure that the brush is clean.

To do this, hit the bristles on a hard surface (shake), the rub falls to the end of the bristles and from here it is easily combed by a rare crest or a metal knitting needle. The brush is brushed against the surface of soapy water, then rinsed with clean water, wiped with a towel and hung to dry. The polished side of the brush can be gently wiped with oil.
